Vigan-Pagudpud Trip 2010 / PART 2

Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte
August 28-29, 2010

Ilocos Norte was as exciting as Ilocos Sur, we have traveled farther to pay tribute to the late President Ferdinand Marcos at his mausoleum and photo gallery in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte at 1:00 PM.

Up next in our itinerary was the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse located in the uppermost part of Burgos, it is also one of the oldest Parolas in the country.

Then, the tallest Windmills in Southeast Asia, facing the South China sea. These gigantic windmills provides 40% of the power requirements of Ilocos Norte via Transco Laoag. A zig-zag road awaits us on our way to Pagudpud and after an exhausting day, we have finally arrived at Hannah's Beach resort located infront of the Blue Lagoon, tagged as the Boracay of the north.

After settling down, we all took a nap then dinner afterward. We dipped into the warm swimming pool to relax and enjoy the evening sky and we called it a night by 11 o'clock. The sun was brightly shining the next day, we went off the shore to explore the beach. We took a dip to the pool for one last time before we packed up.We went on to see the Bantay Abot Cave before going home. Along the way, we saw runners sweating their selves up in a 68Km race.
So guys, where would be our next trip?! =D
